The NorDan 2022 British Handball Super Cup took place last weekend at Oriam, Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre in Edinburgh, with the top four men’s and women’s teams from Scotland and England battling it out the title and European club competition qualification.

The Scottish Handball Association held their Scottish Cup Finals last Saturday 14th of May at Oriam, Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre in Edinburgh. As this was the first Cup Finals day since 2019, there were many new faces in attendance hoping for a Scottish Cup victory. The SHA Scottish Cup Finals Day 2022 consited of four age group competitions as well as a Senior Men's & Senior Women's Final.

In Scotland’s Performance Sport Centre at the Oriam, on 20th March 2022, spectators were treated to an exhibition of the best of Scottish Student Handball during this year’s Scottish Student Handball League Finals day.

We are recruiting for two roles, a Head Coach for the Men's Handball National Team, and a Head Coach for the Women's Handball National Team. 

We are looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver the British Handball Super Cup 2022 at Oriam, Scotland 20th, 21st & 22nd of May 2022.

The Scottish Handball Association (SHA), England Handball Association (EHA) and British Handball Association (BHA) are proud to announce that Scotland will host the ‘British Handball Super Cup’ for the next three years, starting in May 2022.

To celebrate our 50th Anniversary, the Scottish Handball Association will reboot the Scottish Handball National Team Programme.

Included in the Anniversary celebrations we will host a day of competition against our time-old rivals, England in August 2022. From this event, we will then look to continue with the Scottish National Team programme. 

Olympic 2012 GB Handball Team Captain, Lynn McCafferty, and former professional Handball Player and current Kelvinside HC Head Coach, Geanina Kirkland, join the National Academy Programme Coaching Staff. 

Scottish Handball is currently working to provide evidence against the majority of the UKAD Assurance Framework requirements and of which many are currently under review by UKAD.
