British Handball Men To Resume Competition
The Great Britain men’s senior handball team are set to play their first competitive matches in over two years as they get ready to appear in the International Handball Federation’s 2023 IHF Men’s World Championship – Qualification Europe Phase 1 in Finland from 5-7 November.
This will be GB’s first participation in an IHF World Championship qualifier in almost 10 years and has been made possible after British Handball recently secured UK Sport funding for the first time since 2012.
Men's Handball Is Back
After 18 long months the Scottish Handball Men's Leagues have returned. These leagues will be housed at our partner venue Oriam, Scotland's Sports Performance Centre.

Bartlett & Stokes referee Men's 19 EURO 2021
British Handball Association referees Brian Bartlett & Allan Stokes have been called up to referee at the Men's 19 EURO 2021 in Croatia.
COVID-19 Update - 09.08.21
The First Minister provided a Covid-19 update on 22 June 2021 and confirmed publication of an updated Strategic Framework (June 2021) and that a Review of Physical Distancing has been completed following the accelerated rollout of the vaccination programme.
A further update was provided on 3 August 2021 confirming that all of Scotland will move 'Beyond Level 0' on August 9th.
Therefore, protection levels guidance for sport and physical activity continues to be provided within this document along with additional information for ‘Beyond Level 0’. A summary of changes relating to ‘Beyond Level 0’ is available in Appendix 2 in sportscotland's Return to Sport and Physical Activity guidance.
