Men’s League Decided on Final Weekend

Following this weekends Men’s league matches the league winners will be decided after the final matches next weekend.  East Kilbride played Livingston at home and needed to win to keep themselves in contention for the title.  After a close first half Livingston took control of the match in the second half and ran out winners 34-29.  To win the league East Kilbride need to beat Glasgow by more than 10 goals in their home match against them next Saturday and Livingston would need to lose their match against Edinburgh.

On Saturday night Glasgow were 37-31 winners over Tryst which keeps them in pole position for the league.  Even if Livingston win their match against Edinburgh they can only become champions if Glasgow lose by more than 10 goals.  The top 2 teams qualify for the British Play-offs so there is still a lot up for grabs with East Kilbride having an outside chance of 2nd place.  Overall Glasgow remain favourites for the title.
