Dominant Position Maintained by Tryst 77 Women

Tryst 77 women finished the season on high as a result of winning a hard fought SHA Cup Final, with their opponents from Glasgow, who produced their best performance of the season, pressing them hard throughout the match. However, in the end the spoils once again went to Tryst 77 with a 29 – 24 score line.
This win ensured the completion of the double for the reigning Scottish Champions as they had already secured the National League title the previous month, having completed the season without dropping a single point, and one is left to wonder what the opposition have to do to dislodge them from this long held position. It seems it will not get any easier as Tryst 77 had further successes during the 3 days of SHA Cup Final Event.
They picked up titles in the Super Minis, U16 Girls and U16 Boys and finished runners up in the Girls 2002-03, which was won by Troon. The remaining titles went to Kelvinside in the Boys 2002-03, with this year’s Minis crown going to South Edinburgh. The future looks bright and doubtless there will be much to ponder over during the short summer break.
